Final Fantasy Type-0 supports Vita right analog stick

Square Enix has yet to officially announce a Western localization for Final Fantasy Type-0, its critically-acclaimed PSP-exclusive action-RPG. Some have questioned if it would ever come stateside, due to the languishing PSP market in the US. Perhaps Square Enix can take a different approach for its Western release? Game director Hajime Tabata recently confirmed that the game is up and running on Sony's next generation portable, the Vita.
Speaking to Famitsu (via Andriasang), Tabata said the Vita version of Type-0 will take advantage of the right analog stick for camera control, and it "ups the playability." He also noted that the graphics are "very pretty" on the system, likely taking advantage of the Vita's native upscaler for PSP games.
The game's multiplayer mode is also intact when played on a Vita, with Sony confirming that playing with others "wouldn't be a problem."
Considering Square Enix's own high praise for the Vita version, it won't be surprising if Square Enix markets Type-0 as a Vita game once it's announced for a US release.
