Final Fantasy XIII-2 collector's edition announced

Final Fantasy XIII-2 fits on one DVD. But, if you miss the joys of owning lots and lots of discs, Square Enix has announced a new collector's edition for the upcoming RPG.
Available "in limited quantities" at GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy, the $80 package includes "premium packaging" featuring artwork by none other than Yoshitaka Amano.
In addition, the bundle includes a 4-disc official soundtrack, and a collection of concept art bound in an art book. It promises to feature a variety of "never-before-seen illustrations, environments and more."

Unfortunately, there's no way to get a "definitive" version of the game, even when buying the collector's edition. There are retailer-specific pre-order bonuses that are separate from this premium bundle. GameStop will offer an alternate costume for Serah, while Amazon will offer an exclusive boss battle. Best Buy will offer a hardcover novella featuring an original story that "ties together the events of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2." For the collectors, that sounds like the best promo to get.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 31.
