Vigil Games could be reborn with Gunfire Games

The story of Vigil Games is one that ended bitterly, but not before the studio pumped out two amazing Darksiders games. Alas, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel, as former Vigil Games head David Adams is looking to reform the team.
Adams and several members of Crytek USA broke away to form a new studio called Gunfire Games. Speaking with Polygon, Adams explained that it was a key decision, mainly due to financial problems swarming Crytek as of late. Adams felt that this was a great time to work on the new studio, as well as continuing to work with key people he knew so well from the Vigil days.
"It really was the team," Adams said. "When you make a game, one of the most important elements of that is the people you work with. You could get 12 of the best developers in the world and put them into a room and they may not make a good game."
The goal of the team, according to Adams, is to bring the original Vigil squad together. As far as what it'll be working on next, Adams believes that, with enough people, a new Darksiders game wouldn't be out of the cards, as long as Nordic Games, the holder of the rights to the series, is on board.
It'll be interesting to see what happens from here, but, yes, more Darksiders please.
