Following a surprisingly strong year, Square Enix has actually moved up its forecasts. Crediting positive sales of Final Fantasy 14, Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster, Thief, and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, the publisher has recorded greater profit than previously anticipated.
The forecasts (via Joystiq) show the company now expecting approximately $1.5 million USD in net sales, up from the previous forecast of $1.4 million. The profit from the most recent fiscal period was approximately $65 million, an increase of almost 90% from its minimum estimates.
