Square Enix confirmed the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition over the weekend, but original developer Crystal Dynamics isn't handling the workload alone. As it turns out, Sleeping Dogs developer United Front and Nixxes Software have pitched in too.

A post on the PlayStation Blog announced the involvement of the two extra studios. United Front worked on the Xbox One version and Nixxes on the PlayStation 4 version. United Front is also currently working on the Sleeping Dogs follow-up Triad Wars, and Nixxes contributed to PC ports of Tomb Raider and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Nixxes official site (via Polygon) also gave some more details about the next-gen versions. The will feature more realistic hair similar to the PC version thanks to the use of AMD's TressFX tech. The PlayStation 4 version will have the controller light bare glow red and orange when Lara lights a torch, and flash with gunshots when firing a weapon. The Xbox One version will let you change weapons and attachments, and navigate menus, with your voice. You can also use hand gestures to rotate and inspect relics, or lean into the world to find viewpoints.
