BioShock Infinite DLC detailed: return to Rapture

2K Games has sold a DLC Season Pass for BioShock Infinite since the game launched in March, but long months went buy with nary a word on what the three add-ons it covered actually were--until now. The 'Clash in the Clouds' DLC is out today, adding a challenge mode, while the two-part 'Burial at Sea' campaign will see Elizabeth and Booker in BioShock's underwater city of Rapture before its fall.
Clash in the Clouds appears to be a fairly standard combat arena sort of DLC. You kill things and complete challenges to unlock new Voxophones and Kinetoscopes and whatnot. It'll hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 today, included in the Season Pass, or $5 on its lonesome.
Far more interesting is Burial at Sea. It'll see Booker and Elizabeth in Rapture on New Year's Eve, 1958--the day everything went wrong in the underwater utopia. It'll be released in two parts, each costing $15 or included with the Pass. No word yet on when it'll arrive.
"Gameplay has been modified to give the player an original BioShock combat experience that merges the best parts of BioShock and BioShock Infinite," 2K says of Burial at Sea. "Explore the city when it was at the height of its beauty, meet some old 'friends,' and make some new ones, all through the eyes of Booker DeWitt. Why are Booker and Elizabeth in Rapture? What was the city like before everything fell to pieces?"
We'll get to play as Elizabeth in the second part of Burial too, Ken Levine told Polygon.
The Season Pass costs $20, including all three packs plus some bonus weapon upgrades and infusions, so it should be well worth the money if Burial at Sea turns out as interesting as it seems. Here's the trailer for Burial at Sea:
