Experiment 12 brings twelve indies together for one 'weird' tale

Have you ever played that game where you'd sit with your friends in a circle and start telling a story? After someone would get done telling a piece of the story, the next person would pick right up and keep it going. It's a great bonfire activity and now, twelve indie developers are applying this idea to a new game.

Experiment 12 is an idea from Super Hexagon creator Terry Cavanagh. A cryptic exploration game, Cavanagh writes the first chapter of the story before passing the baton over to his contemporaries, who write a chapter of their own. Contributors include Ian Snyder (Captain Dan v. Zombie Plan), Jack King-Spooner (Blues for Mittavinda), and a concluding 12th chapter from Jasper Byrne (Lone Survivor).

Experiment 12's Geocities page does nothing to describe the game, but Eurogamer describes it as a "very weird" game touching on the theme of mental illness and slowly losing your mind. Those curious to jump down this rabbit hole can download the game for free on PC, with a Mac version coming soon.
