2016 may seem like a long time away, but CD Projekt RED already has their eyes set on the future. Although the company already has The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 in the works, it has big plans for expansion.
For example, CDPR plans on opening a US office, one that will help market its games Stateside.
The full report (translated by VideoGamer) also details the studio's plans to license its proprietary REDengine 3 to third party developers. The latest version of the engine not only helps produce prettier visuals and open worlds, but adds support for animation systems, and an updated REDkit editor that helps build branching quests.
In addition, the company is hoping to launch two "smaller" games based on its existing franchises. Of course, size is relative--CDPR is aiming for something that would be about 20 hours each in length. Finally, CDPR is aiming to develop a "cross-platform game on mobile platforms"
and, presumably, take over the world.
