Nintendo's downloadable offerings have been a bit lacklustre on the Wii, DSi, and 3DS, but at least one corker's in the bag for the Wii U. Ron Gilbert and Double Fine's platforming adventure game The Cave is coming to Nintendo's new console via the eShop, DF confirmed over the weekend at PAX Prime. Which is about all we know, really. Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 was a curious announcement from Gearbox at E3 2011, both because it went silent almost immediately and because, well, it seemed to be a very silly game for a once-po-faced World War 2 series. CEO Randy Pitchford said that it was "evolving" a few months back, then over the weekend at PAX Prime revealed it's been split off from BiA so Gearbox could comfortably go crazy with it. Read more

Given how popular retro-style games are nowadays, it's downright disgusting that it's taken so long for developers to make a trailer as amazing as the new Super T.I.M.E. Force trailer fresh out of PAX Prime. It's just like the cartoons from my childhood, if the cartoons from your childhood weren't crammed full of tedious filler you've forgotten as you race towards the grave.
