Sony closing Wipeout dev SCE Studio Liverpool

Sony Computer Entertainment today confirmed plans to shut down Studio Liverpool, 19 years after acquiring it and almost 30 after the studio was founded as the hallowed Psygnosis. Studio Liverpool was most known for creating and developing racing series Wipeout, but it was also once a publisher too, bringing the world DMA Design's (now Rockstar) >Lemmings games. Read more

Sony's gaming division posts a loss, expects lower sales of PS3 and Vita

The PlayStation division hasn't performed up to Sony's expectations. In its latest quarterly earnings report, the electronics giant reported lower sales of hardware and software of the PSP and PS3, causing a sales decrease of 14.5% year-on-year. Read more
FIFA 13 for Wii U has touch screen passing, tackling
