Boasting dialogue written by Dinosaur Comics chap Ryan North, it's a weird adventure game starring a chap who unexpectedly finds himself able to change his paper world by swapping stickers using a bright pink arm growing out his noggin. Oh, how briefly EA respected the Wii U and Vita as consoles deserving of typical AAA fare. Both received ports of 2012's Need for Speed: Most Wanted but are missing out on this year's entry in the racing series, Rivals. The answer to why was pretty clear, but Rivals developer Ghost Games has stated it plainly: Most Wanted didn't sell enough to be worth the effort again. Read more

After a little hinting that CastleStorm would catapult onto more platforms, developer Zen Studios today announced it'll land November 5 on PlayStation 3. It's, oh, I don't know, some combination of castle-builder and physics-based castle-smasher and real-time strategy and beat 'em up. Read more

Puzzling shoot 'em up Velocity Ultra is making the jump from PlayStation Vita to PS3 later this year. The HDified port is handled by, as every Vita indie port seems to be nowadays, Curve Studios, while creator FuturLab focuses on the sequel, Velocity 2X. Unfortunately it won't support Cross-Buy or Cross-Save, so if you already own it on Vita you'd need to buy and start it again. Read more

In an investor's call, Ubisoft executives stated that part of the reason it has revised its fiscal year expectations downward is lower-than-expected performance of games like Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Rayman Legends. Read more

When Atlus said that Cross-Play was coming soon to VanillaWare's hack 'n' slash Dragon's Crown, it really meant it. Only six days after its announcement, the publisher yesterday rolled out a patch adding cross-platform multiplayer between the PS3 and Vita editions. Read more
