Next week brings the first next-gen game, with the release of what one imagines will surely be the second-best-selling game of the year, Call of Duty: Ghosts. For whatever reason, the PS4 version is imminent, even if you can't play for some time. We're also getting Wii Sports Club, Tale of Tales' sensual Luxuria Superbia, Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies, the proper PC launch of State of Decay, and the very last game from Arkedo, Poof VS the Cursed Kitty. The strategy RPG Rainbow Moon is getting its Vita port on December 3, indie developer SideQuest Studios has announced. It will feature cross-saves with the PS3 version. Read more

November marks the beginning of PlayStation Plus' Instant Game Collection for PS4. That means Plus members will be able to pick up seven free games across three PlayStation platforms. Read more

Sony has announced its new "Sony Rewards" program, offering points for dollars spent through the PlayStation Store and using its branded credit card. You can then trade those points for games and hardware. Read more

Sure, I guess Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV are both launching next week, but the new release that really matters is the PC edition of Deadly Premonition. The original Xbox 360 version is one of my favourite games, so skip that rubbish and buy DP. That's my tip of the week, and also my fact of the week. And buy the PlayStation version of Proteus too.
