As is the case with many subscription-based MMOs nowadays, Tera seems to be in a spot of trouble. Only a few weeks after layoffs at developer Bluehole's publishing subsidiary En Masse Entertainment comes word that it's merging the fantasy MMORPG's 11 servers into a mere 3 only four months after launch, to get rid of that unpleasant empty feeling. "We're not about to change," The Secret World creative director Ragnar Tørnquist has said as developer Funcom dusts itself off and gets back to work following layoffs and a launch less successful than it'd hoped for. Funcom's plan is to make no drastic changes but simply keep releasing content updates while making the real-world-ish supernatural RPG friendlier to new players. Read more

Nintendo's downloadable offerings have been a bit lacklustre on the Wii, DSi, and 3DS, but at least one corker's in the bag for the Wii U. Ron Gilbert and Double Fine's platforming adventure game The Cave is coming to Nintendo's new console via the eShop, DF confirmed over the weekend at PAX Prime. Which is about all we know, really.
