When a subscription-based MMORPG turns free-to-play, as they almost inevitably do, it's very important to strike a balance between what's free and what players must pay for. DayZ has become one of the Shacknews community's favorite games, with a dedicated server for community members to set up shop and go on raids around nearby towns. After months of playing through the game, however, at least one Shacker has found the game a little too forgiving. Let's set aside the tedious debate over whether or not games are art and skip to a practical question: how would you display a game as a piece of art? Simply leaving the game running for visitors to play won't mean anything to people who aren't game-literate, especially if it's something complex.
