After S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was cancelled, former members of developer GSC Game World founded Vostok Games to continue the ideals of the open-world survival shooter series with Survarium. As for the actual S.T.A.L.K.E.R. brand, though, it wasn't quite clear what was happening. Rumours said Skyrimdeveloper Bethesda was sniffing around, but publisher bitComposer today announced that it has grabbed the license and plans to make more S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Read more

Blizzard has spoken many times over the years about a console edition of Diablo 3 and publicly hired for such a project, but never confirmed it as an actual game we'll get to play one day. It does indeed have the action-RPG running on console now, it's confirmed, but even now Blizzard can't say whether or not it'll see the light of day. Read more

EA's banged on about how urban planners will be able to connect cities in SimCity, and now demonstrates that nicely in a new six-minute video. Each city can hook up with neighbouring cities, run by you or your chums, to import and export resources like electricity and policing, or just to be friends I guess. Read more

Fortunately, the phenomenal Sportsfriends managed to narrowly hit its Kickstarter funding goal in the final day, after an awful struggle. Rejoice! J.S.
