BioWare had a Bond-y, Bourne-ish espionage RPG in the works several years ago but it ended up scrapped, Trent Oster has revealed. Codenamed 'Agent,' it was the BioWare co-founder's last project before he left in 2009, and hoped to showcase the full spread of a secret agent's talents. Read more

The new Hidden Secrets DLC for Assassin's Creed 3 apparently had on secret that even the developers didn't know about. Apparently a bug in the pack is deleting the save games of some players and forcing them to replay certain content. Read more

Toss Minecraft and Team Fortress 2 into a blender and you'll come out with a horrible jagged mess of bits which could take your eye out. Draw influences from those games, however, and you may come out with something like build-o-destroy-a-FPS Ace of Spades, which publisher Jagex has announced will launch next week. Read more

Multiple Warhammer fantasy games are in the pipeline at Total War developer The Creative Assembly, Sega announced today. The publisher has scooped the rights to Games Workshop's classic magical elves-and-ratmen tabletop wargame and set up a new team at TCA to bring them to our computers, planning for the first game to hit after 2013. The Great Giana Sisters got their start in video games in a cheeky Super Mario Bros. clone which was pulled from shelves after threats by Nintendo, but are starting to make it big in their own right. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams recently launched with a crowd-funded helping hand from Kickstarter, and now it's leaping towards Xbox Live Arcade. Read more
