Titanfall confirmed for 2014 release

After a early leak of a Game Informer cover and story, Titanfall was confirmed today by Electronic Arts and shown at Microsoft's press conference. The game, coming from former Call of Duty devs at Respawn Entertainment, will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 2014. Read more

Watch Dogs E3 trailer is jolly nice CGI

No, CGI trailers don't represent gameplay. Yes, they are fluffy marketing to get you unduly excited. But by gum, the cinematic E3 trailer for Ubisoft's open-world cybervigilante 'em up Watch Dogs is awfully pretty, if a bit eerie. We can still enjoy it as an attractive and well-made video for our enjoyment which by pure chance is somehow connected to a video game. Call it tone-setting and world-building, if you must. Read more
State of Decay update coming as sales pass 250k; PC version won't be 'soon'

Just when everyone seemed bored stiff of zombies, State of Decay launched last week to shake a little life into the genre. That sentence contained two jokes. The open-world zombie 'em up sold a whopping 250,000 copies in its first two days on sale, developer Undead Labs announced, also revealing that an XBLA title update is in the pipe. Alas, it also says the PC version won't be coming soon "by any meaningful use of the word 'soon'." Read more

Call of Duty: Ghosts footage focuses on Riley the dog

After Call of Duty: Ghosts made its official debut at the Xbox One unveiling, fans of the series seemed to be pretty fond of the German Shepherd that is making its debut as part of your elite Special Forces team.
