After all the fun of GDC, next week is a bit light on new releases. We'll see the launch of jumping hit 'em up BattleBlock Theater, build 'em up Cities in Motion 2, TV show 'em up Defiance, and video game history 'em up Evoland. What fascinates me most, however, is Lords of Football, which appears to be a remarkable combination of Football Manager and The Sims. Read more

Nintendo rolled out a new 3DS system update today, adding one feature that'll be hugely appreciated by the few who need it, and one tweak that's just kind of useful for everyone. One's downloading from the eShop with your 3DS in sleep mode and the other's transferring saves from physical games to digital editions of them, but which is which! Read more

Nearly two years ago, Nintendo was sued by longtime Sony employee Seijiro Tomita over the use of glasses-free 3D technology in the 3DS. Today, the court ruled in favor of Tomita, awarding him $30.2 million in damages. Read more
