Set in Somalia in 1993, the movie recounts the story of an elite group of Delta Force soldiers and Army Rangers. The American soldiers are sent on a critical mission to capture a brutal Somali warlord whose regime has caused the torture and starvation of hundreds of thousands of Somalis. Unfortunately, the mission goes horribly wrong, and the soldiers find themselves outnumbered in hostile territory and fighting for their lives. The movie stars an exceptional cast that includes Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor, Tom Sizemore, Eric Bana, and Sam Shepard.
