Game Description

In 2077, the global atomic war left the U.S. all but destroyed. A small band of survivors now lives in Vault 101, a Vault-Tec engineered safe haven in the remnants of Washington D.C., now known as Capital Wasteland. Giant insects, raiders, slavers, and super mutants roam the world outside, but leave the residents of Vault 101 alone. But when you wake one morning to find your father gone, you must brave the real world for the first time. Create a unique character with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. character system, then choose how you act, which affects the world around you. You can even choose between first- and third-person views!

Fallout 3 is a well thought out game. You want a game that makes you want to know more and feel part of the plot. Bethesda was spot on by keeping you anxious to explore without being pressured toward the main goals.
