This is a great baseball game and it is better then 2k9. For all casual players, beware, hitting the ball is hard and is going to take practice; if you think you can just pick the game up and play a little, get ready for one frustrating afternoon. However, if you give it some time you will find it to be a great game and batting a .100-.300 is doing great in this game.

I found that the Rtts mode to be great and really rewarding. I will say that it does take awhile to advance to the majors, maybe even 2 years of play. But, think about it, doesn't it take longer for real players?

I have played baseball my whole life, in video games and real life. This game is by far the best one out. If you are a fan of baseball, that has a deep franchise mode, also has a very unique Road to the show, which allows you to create a guy and take him hopefully up the the big leagues and make him a legend or a single A bust. Best part is online is fun and easy to figure out. Plus they do roster updates very frequently. This is the only baseball game that I have played more than a full 162 game season. Highly addicting style of play, a little frustrating when you first start to play not gonna lie. It took a little while to get used to the controls especially stealing bases and having one guy tag up and the other not. Believe it or not, its not an easy game. You will lose periodically, unless you turn it off or cheat some how. This one is worth every penny, so just go buy it instead of rent it.
