The premise is simply enough - create triangles of like-colored blocks. Other blocks caught inside the triangle creates an opportunity to start creating chains. The bigger the chain, the more points received. Though you only have a limited amount of time, both to reach a goal and to initiate the chain. Wait too long to start the chain-reaction and the blocks start locking down. Once time expires or the whole board becomes locked, game over.
I'll admit I was really turned off when I first started to play this game. The first few levels were infurating to me because I had a hard time mastering the nuances. However, once I got a hold of them, the game actually started to become enjoyable.
I have two qualms after I spent a few days with the game. One, the game play is repetitive. The only thing that changes is the goal, and sometimes how many different colors you have to work with. Two, your screen calibration and your hand-eye coordination need to be dead-on. Miss your intended target by a pixel and you've effectively locked down as many as four spaces. This gets followed up by the colored pieces starting to move about around halfway through a stage. It makes the game frustrating, but certainly not unplayable.
