I read on Twitter that it was. But i can't find much of anything about this. Is it true? What about DJ Hero?

The original Guitar Hero publisher RedOctane is being laid off by Activision. People who worked on the guitar software are going to keep their job and report to Activision. They have just lost ideas for more games. Activison posted a $233 Million net loss dealing with a large majority of them losing a bunch of money on their most recent game release Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. I can't say much for the DJ Hero series. It does not relate to the guitar hero section of Activision, but I might be wrong. yea it looks like it along with true crime :( its been a long run but since legends of rock it went down hill from there

Yes, it is being cancelled along with the dj hero series due to the decline of interest in the music game genre. they also lost a lot of money on their most recent GH game i think it was warriors of rock or something like that . a lot of people with be saddend by the end of GH but I see it as for the best so they can focus on their more money making baby Call of duty. which is obviously their cash cow for the company. RIP GH 2005-2011
