In the online multiplayer can more than one person play on a single console? (split screen)

Nothing has been completely "confirmed" yet, but with how the game looks so far, I would say that there is a 50/50 chance of a 2 player splitscreen. 4 player split is definitely not going to happen.
I actually doubt there will be a 2-player split. but, it's possible.

WIth up to 32 on a single online map playing even splitscreen seems unlikely due to both the graphics load and limiting your own ability to keep up with the action. Split screen sometimes squishes the screen so much that you miss half the action you should be paying attention to when playing online.

While watching a interview with one of their team. They seem to be headed towards a "one console per player " deal. SO, it might be that you can only play co-op via XBOX Live.
