Thoughts on "Dark Souls"?

'Dark Souls' is a sucessor of sorts to Demon's Souls, the PS3 exclusive released in 2009 and known by many as "an extremely difficult game".

Dark Souls developers already claim that it will be harder than the original, but still just as enjoyable and addicting. It will be available later this year for the PlayStation3 and Xbox 360.

I'm cautiously interested....I don't see how they can make it even harder but somehow keep you from going insane with frustration. But if it is possible I'll definitely play it.
