Will the next Nintendo console be a sequel or a completely new console?

I think the question isn't "is" there a chance for a Wii sequel as much as it's a question of "when". It's obvious Nintendo is going at their own pace and they're sticking to their guns as far as progression of their new consoles. I really hope they announce something at this year's E3, but if it's not announced there, it may be announced at the TGS (august).
To be honest, it would be a bad move if they didn't announce anything new (as far as a new Wii) like they've done the past few years.

I bet Nintendo will come out with a Wii very soon. Like mobile said, probably close to E3 2011.
If they don't, Nintendo will be far behind everybody else. Microsoft and Sony have motion controls. That added with HD and 3D, the Wii is in a losing battle.
I'm not completely convinced a new Wii will come out this year though. I bet it gets announced and then comes out sometime in 2012. But the world is going to explode in 2012, so it really doesn't matter. lol =P

Nintendo's next home console will most likely be an improved version of the Wii. They have put too much into the Wii and motion controls to do a 180 and start down a different road now.
I think the next home console that Nintendo makes will have to have HD, motion controls, and 3D capabilities to stay competitive with Sony and Microsoft.
