Will there be a new Resident Evil game coming out for the PS3?

There has been talk of Resident Evil 6, and the makers have stated that it could be a complete reboot of the series, and take up to eight years to make. It would probably be on the PS3 (and 360), unless there are newer consoles by that time. Capcom hasn't yet given the okay to create this new game.
In the meantime, there are three portable games on the horizon: Resident Evil Portable (PSP), Resident Evil Mercenaries and Resident Evil Revelations (3DS).

Probably at some point. There is going to be one coming out on Nintendo's new handheld system.

If you mean a brand new Resident Evil game, not for a very long time. They are talking about "Rebooting" the entire series with new characters and plots. But it is still in talks.
They might come out with older R.E games with new content, but a new game, no.- 0
