Yeah, I agree on Ninja Gaiden. It's the only game I ever quit playing purely because of difficulty. It's cheap as hell too, especially when guys start throwing things at you from off screen. How are you supposed to dodge that?

Ooh, tough one. Halo: Combat Evolved is one of the hardest games i can remember. I couldn't ever beat it. The flood always slaughtered me.

I know there are harder games out though. I've never played any Mega Man games, but i heard they're some of the most difficult.

Conflict vietnam on ps2, took me and a friend forever to beat there's a stage on there called tunnel rats that is insanely hard. I will never play that game again, way to frustrating

I think resident evil 4 for the first players is the hardest game,especially in the Island part.
The game leaves you with armor enemies and a hard-to-kill kind of enemy(whose name I really don' remember!!)

Probably Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising for me. It was pretty hard. I believe it is the only game where I truly could not get past a mission and gave up. It was just so realistic it made the game bad.
