How do i get an update for Rock Band 3?

If i go onto Rock Band 3 and try to play some of my downloaded songs (Afterlife is one of them), it will say that i need an update for the songs to work. Ok, so maybe i need to look around on the menu for updates right? Well, i did that and i didn't find anything about updates or anything like that. So, where are the updates? It doesn't automatically update or anything like that. Where is the update?

Rock Band 3 updating isn't as streamlined as it was for Rock Band 2. If you've purchased the RB1 transfer (or the LEGO Rock Band transfer), it should just show up. If you want to transfer RB2 songs, you'll need to purchase a transfer from XBox LIVE. I believe there are instructions in the manual or at rockband.com.

Unfortunately, it's not automatic...though I wish it did.

To be honest, there's almost a different way of transferring depending on what RB title you have. It's pretty convoluted if you as me, but it's worth it i you have a lot of download content.

That's strange. Try deleting the song and redownloading it. That might solve some kind of weirdness that may have popped up in your data.
