I thought you could fight with other Assassins in this game?

Starting in Sequence 4, after you save a few citizens from Borgia soldiers, you will be able to recruit them into the Assassin's Guild. You just find a target you want to kill, get close enough to them so that they are shining and then press LB.

You have to go to Pigeon coops at the locations on the map with Assassin Symbols, when you interact with the coop you will get to upgrade your allies armor and weapons.
