Where do you find the items you need to collect for the Faith Shop Quest in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood?

I was asked to find some random items for a Blacksmith to unlock the Captain's Sword, but I can't seem to find any of the items...or find the list of items I'm looking for. Can anyone tell me where to look to find these items? And do I need to bring them back to a Blacksmith or will the sword unlock itself?

You just have to open the treasure chests that you find in Rome. You can also send your Assassin apprentices out to do missions. Missions with stars instead of diamonds showing their difficulty give you items...and it says what item it will give you before you try the mission.
