I think you have to pay for every new EA game now to play online. Is that right? At first i didn't think so, but every EA game i've played recently does this. Even Sims 3... So, do all EA games do this?

I think with some of the games, like Medal of Honor, you can still play online but you don't get access to exclusive content. But for sports games you have to pay the fee.

Umm, I don't think you have to pay to play any of them as long as you paid for them new. used titles will now require you to buy an online activation code. if you bought it new, there is a code in the insert of the case that you use to activate online play.

Interesting...I was not aware of that. I thought it was only the EA Sports games that did it. I do remember reading though that Medal of Honor didn't make you pay to play online if you were only renting it/bought it used.
Also I wasn't aware that The Sims 3 on consoles even had an online mode.
