If I use cheats in Sims 3 for Xbox 360 or PS3, Does it deactivate achievements and trophies?

It does this in a lot of games. Does it do this in Sims 3?

Yup, it warns you before you enable any cheats though. The game also gives you a chance to save before you turn on cheat mode.
