How can Treyarch stop users from Quickscoping?

First off, let me say that i personally quickscope all the time. It does take skill, which is why i don't understand this article. Treyarch says they will stop quickscoping in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The only way i find this possible is to not let you scope for the first second as you bring up the scope. Which i kind of find insulting, since i do this. How do you feel about this? Do you also think that Treyarch is ruining Call of Duty games?

In the article I think it said the same thing you did, that you can't shoot until the scope is centered. I actually like that they took it out of the game. Without Quickscoping new players don't have to worry about a trick that isn't in the manual being used against them. Not that knowing tricks is a bad thing, but certain tricks gives people that use them an unfair advantage.
