Can you get into cover in Medal of Honor?

I thought i saw somewhere, that you can get into cover. I might be wrong though. Can you get into cover in Medal of Honor. Or am i mistaken?

I don't think you actually get stuck to the wall like most games where cover is used. I know you can run towards cover and slide into it, you can also peek around corners..
