I returned this game about 3 times and the same thing happens. I play for about an hour, do about 3 missions, and in between missions, while driving to a location, the game just freezes.

Do you get a complete freeze up with perhaps a checkerboard pattern on the screen? If so, it's probably not the game, it's probably your 360 on its way to the RROD or possibly E-74.

Im gonna have to agree with Transience, sounds like your console is dying. My 360 would freeze during COD4 all the time, but nothing else, till one day it froze during Star Ocean and then it never woke up...RRoD
