I think you have to get a certain number of points or kills to become a jedi in Star Wars Battlefront II. I haven't played that game forever (Make a third Battlefront Pandemic, please)

You can't play as a Jedi in the first Star Wars Battlefront, only in the second one. If you are playing Battefront 2, once you get enough kills you will see the option to choose a villian or hero in the infantry selection screen..that hero's availability will then be determined by how many kills you get and how much damage you inflict, as well as how much damage you take.
