I know it can be played (and is recommended to be played) with the classic controller, and that the remote and nunchuck aren't as good an option. But I don't necessarily want to buy a new controller for the game, and I know the Gamecube controller generally works as a substitute for the classic controller, so is Monster Hunter Tri compatible with the Gamecube controller?
