Why did Uncharted 2 lose features with it's new update?

It looks like Uncharted 2 lost some features with it's newest update. I find this very bad, since you bought a game not too long ago, and it's already losing features. Is there a reason for this? What do you think about this?

I gotta say it's a mistake. It sounds crazy to release an update that not only takes away from the game, but introduces a bunch of bugs. I think they accidental released a beta patch or something, instead of the final.. just a guess though.
