Can you play this game with only a dualshock controller, or do you need playstation move controllers, or a top shot gun?

Yes, you can use a controller. The gun is optional, and rather difficult to calibrate properly, though it ends up being more fun with one.
But it doesn't really matter how you play because the game is pretty mediocre.
