Everything I've read about this game seems like it's just a new story and location, but plays just like Fallout 3. Not that that's a bad thing, I loved Fallout 3, but I figured with a change in developer (and the fact it's not called Fallout 4), that this would play a little differently.

The engine looks exactly the same as Fallout 3, so that's probably why it's not going to be considered the next full sequel in the series. I'm thinking of it as being closely related to Fallout 3. It's much more than an expansion, of course, and will have new characters/locations/quests etc. It's still its own game, too.

Hmm, i didn't even notice there is a new developer. But from what i've also heard about this game is that it'll have a new location and story, and that's about it.
I wish it would be a little bit different, but Fallout 3 was great. I guess we'll just have to see how it turns out.
