a code that i assume, if its anything like the online codes, you have to purchase online, purchase the game thru Gamefly, or purchase a new copy. and im pretty sure if it need a code that co-op means you and someone else online not you and your brother splitscreen but i only played the solo campaign

its the online pass needed to play coop. there is only online so you and your brother will need seprate consoles and online passes.
