Online passes are unique, one-time-use codes that are only provided with copies of games purchased new. They were instituted by game publishers to discourage rentals and used sales, so Gamefly doesn't have any extra codes to give out. If you want to play online you have to either buy an online pass from PSN or buy the game new. Though since Gamefly holds the cases for all of their rental copies you can also get the online pass if you buy the game using the keep function on Gamefly as well.
