Farcry 3 is better than dishonored in my opinion i could not finish dishonored even though it a 4-6 hour game the health system was terrible and the story was not great.meanwhile i loved farcry3 the storyand graphics and it will take 40 hours to do all the missions and collectables. again my opinion but thats what you wanted.

far cry 3 if you want a shooter that you can play forever. Dishonored is more of a game you play for a week and never see again, and you really only use your sword in Dishonored. So I would say Far Cry 3

havent played either personally but Dishonored is a mid-range reviewed game by a great company and Far Cry 3 is the latest in a mediocre at the very best series.

if you want a good shooter here are a few recommendations
Fallout 3 or New Vegas
Mass Effect (3 had a bad ending)
Ghost Recon Future Soldier (mixed feelings about ending)
Metal Gear 4
Medal of Honor (the one made right before BF3. story was jumpy & kinda stupid)
Resistance
Crysis (questionable plot)
BioShock
Army of Two (better with a friend)
Bulletstorm (fun but wanted all 8 or so speaking characters in the whole game to die)

farcry 3 it is more exotic and wild. i love farcry 3, it is so beast because u never know when an animal in the wild will pop up. and vaas, he is so weird but he makes the game so fun because he is flippin crazy. graphics are to good and when i seen dishonored it look so boring. when i seen farcry 3 for the first time i wanted it.go with farcry 3 man
