Where are Portal Guns.........

Why hasn't science made a portal gun yet?! What are we paying these guys to do other than curing illness? What would you do with portal guns? Me, I'd travel the world, and say ' that's obsolete' to transportation.

science hasnt made a portal gun because the physics arent there. But if I could have one then i would go skydiving in my living room.
