Guitar Hero Metallica, Beatles Rock Band, Guitar Hero Van Halen, and Rock Band Green Day are some examples of band exclusive games. I don't like them as much as games like Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero 5 that have multiple bands. How do you feel about band exclusive games?

There is a certain...method you need to do when dealing with a band-specific music game. To me, games like Beatles: Rock Band and Guitar Hero: Metallica were done very well (with Beatles being the better of the two). Aerosmith and AC/DC were just done sloppy.
To be honest, as long as there's an option to "add" the band-specific songs into a general music game a la Rock Band, then I have no issues with them.

I had fun with Beatles Rock Band, GH: Van Halen... well let's just say I'd be very angry if I didn't get it for free. But yeah, single band games generally just seem too limited for me, I'd rather see tons of DLC, maybe even full album, or greatest hits DLC.

I am generally for them when they are bands that I'm interested in, but on the whole they may be too limited. The Beatles are great though, because they have a finite catalog and are an iconic band. While I love Green Day their status as iconic is very much in question, and bands like Metallica aren't done making music.
