Well, there's a maximum altitude for planes and helicopters, but no other walls I've encountered so far.
I bet that if you fly away from the island, you'll eventually hit some sort of wall as well.
There aren't really any instances where you won't actually be able to get somewhere (unless you're trying to leave the main map).
