Endadget just posted that Ninendo will be unveiling the 3DS at E3 this year. This is a successor to the DS. And as you might have guest. Will be 3D. The kicker though. No glasses required! Ok, I'm very interested to see this in action.

The requirement of glasses to view 3d has always been an issue...if Nintendo can successfully replicate 3d without having to use glasses or having to make our eyes bleed, then I think Nintendo may trump this year's E3.

This isn't just a Virtual Boy strapped to a DS is it? A 3D DS sounds kind of cool, but I don't think Nintendo needs to bring out a successor yet with the huge profits the DS and DSi are turning. However, it is also the end of March, so I wouldn't count out the possibility that this could be an early April Fools joke.

WAAAAAA! It looks real to me, I read a couple articles and they don't say much. At least they confirm that Nintendo announced the 3ds, and its not just a rumor started by someone.

Yah, i saw a video about this. It looks really cool. But it also looks like a portable version of the Sixaxis on the PS3 controller. Now i just want to know how much it will cost? And how will developers incorporate 3D into their games?
