Air Conflicts Secret wars PC won't run! Why???

I have an new build, i-5 ivy bridge, 16GB Ram, 7970 Vid card and all my drivers are updated.

The game starts then I get a Windows error window which says the game has "stopped working" but no further information.

Anyone else had the problem?
