why does skyrim freeze when i get to the loading part and how do i fix it?

You need ample HD space to run a huge game like Skyrim. A 120gb HD will run it smoothly. Try installing the game onto the Harddrive. I hear this will help it run smoother, but you need a big HD for that too.
