Do you need the Circle Pad Pro to play Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon?

I have heard that the new Luigi's Mansion game needed the Circle Pad Pro to be able to play it, and I think that information that it needs the Circle Pad Pro is correct, but I don't know if they changed their minds. I would be great if someone who has either played a demo or knows this information to please give me an answer. Thanks for the answer.

I have seen people playing the demon online and it seems the used both the circle pad and the D-pad. I don't think it'll make you play with circle pad pro (whatever that is) because honestly, the 3DS ....bigger version (whatever it's called) is going to be too new and Nintendo knows that most everyone will have the first 3DS so they aren't going to screw anyone over with that.
